Από σήμερα, υπήρξε επιδείνωση στις αναπνευστικές επιδόσεις του, που σχετίζονται με την ανοσοανεπάρκεια της τρέχουσας κλινικής του κατάστασης. Επί του παρόντος, πάσχει από μια νέα και σοβαρή λοίμωξη του αναπνευστικού.
Ο πρόεδρος συνεχίζει να λαμβάνει έντονη χημειοθεραπεία, καθώς και άλλες συμπληρωματικές θεραπείες, με δοσολογία ανάλογη της κλινικής του κατάστασης.
Γενική, η κατάσταση της υγείας του εξακολουθεί να είναι πολύ λεπτή.
Ο πρόεδρος λαμβάνει καταφύγιο στον Χριστό και στη ζωή, έχοντας επίγνωση των δυσκολιών που αντιμετωπίζει ο ίδιος και ακολουθεί αυστηρά το πρόγραμμα που έχει σχεδιαστεί από την ιατρική ομάδα του.
Η Μπολιβαριανή κυβέρνηση συνεχίζει να συνοδεύει τα παιδιά του comandante και τα άλλα μέλη της οικογένειάς του.
Σε αυτή τη μάχη της αγάπης και της πνευματικότητας, ο πρόεδρος καλεί τον λαό μας να παραμείνει στην πρώτη γραμμή, αλώβητος από τον ψυχολογικό πόλεμο που μεταδίδεται από ξένα εργαστήρια με εκπροσώπους της διεφθαρμένης δεξιάς της Βενεζουέλας, η οποία προσπαθεί να επιφέρει μια βίαιη κατάσταση προκειμένου να δημιουργηθούν τα προσχήματα για μια ξένη παρέμβαση στην πατρίδα του Μπολιβάρ.
Επιπλέον, η Μπολιβαριανή κυβέρνηση απορρίπτει την υποκριτική στάση των ιστορικών εχθρών του Ούγκο Τσάβες, που σκορπάν για αυτόν πάντα αφειδώς μίσος, ύβρεις και ασέβειες, και οι οποίοι τώρα προσπαθούν να χρησιμοποιήσουν την κατάσταση της υγείας του, ως δικαιολογία για να αποσταθεροποιήσουν την Μπολιβαριανή Δημοκρατία της Βενεζουέλας.
Ευτυχώς, με τον Comandante Τσάβες της Βενεζουέλας ο λαός ξύπνησε, και οι τομείς από την διεφθαρμένη δεξιά ποτέ δεν θα επιστρέψουν ξανά.
Προς το παρόν, η ενότητα και η πειθαρχία είναι οι βάσεις που εγγυούνται την πολιτική σταθερότητα της πατρίδας μας.

The Bolivarian government is informing the people of Venezuela, and our
brother peoples, of the development of President Hugo Chavez’s health.
Today will be two weeks since our president returned to his Venezuelan homeland, a decision which he made himself, following the surgery which he underwent in Havana, Cuba, on December 11 last year.
From today, there has been deterioration in his respiratory performance, related to the immunodeficiency of his current clinical condition. At present he is suffering from a new and serious respiratory infection.
The president has been receiving intense chemotherapy, as well as other complementary treatments, with the dosage according to the development of his clinical state.
His general state of health continues to be very delicate.
The president is taking refuge in Christ and in life, conscious of the difficulties that he is facing and strictly following the programme designed by his medical team.
The Bolivarian government continues to accompany the comaandante’s children and his other family members.
In this battle of love and spirituality, the president calls on our people to remain on the front-lines, unscathed by the psychological warfare spread by foreign laboratories with their spokespeople in the corrupt Venezuelan rightwing, which is attempting to bring about a violent situation in order to create the pretext for a foreign intervention in Bolivar’s homeland.
Additionally, the Bolivarian government rejects the hypocritical attitude of those historic enemies of Hugo Chavez, who have always lavished him with their hate, insults and disrespect, and who now try to use the situation of his health as an excuse to destabilise the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
Fortunately, with Comandante Chavez the Venezuelan people were awakened, and those sectors from the corrupt right will never again return.
At this time, unity and discipline are the bases which will guarantee the political stability of our homeland.

El Gobierno Bolivariano informa al pueblo de Venezuela, y demás pueblos hermanos, sobre la
evolución de la salud del presidente Hugo Chávez.
El Comandante Presidente cumple hoy dos semanas de haber regresado, por su propia decisión, a la
Patria venezolana tras la intervención quirúrgica practicada en La Habana, Cuba, el pasado 11 de
diciembre.
A día de hoy, existe un empeoramiento de la función respiratoria, relacionado con el estado de
inmunodepresión propio de su situación clínica. Actualmente presenta una nueva y severa infección.
Al Presidente se le ha venido aplicando quimioterapia de fuerte impacto, entre otros tratamientos
complementarios con los ajustes derivados de la evolución de su cuadro clínico.
El estado general continúa siendo muy delicado.
El Comandante Presidente se mantiene aferrado a Cristo y a la vida, consciente de las dificultades que
está afrontando y cumpliendo estrictamente con el programa diseñado por el equipo médico de trabajo.
El Gobierno Bolivariano continúa acompañando a los hijos y demás familiares del Comandante
Presidente en esta batalla plena de amor y espiritualidad, y llama a todo nuestro pueblo a mantenerse en
pie de lucha, incólume ante la guerra psicológica desplegada por laboratorios extranjeros, con altavoces
en la derecha corrupta venezolana, que busca generar escenarios de violencia como pretexto para una
intervención extranjera en la Patria de Bolívar.
Asimismo, el Gobierno Bolivariano repudia la actitud farisea de aquellos enemigos históricos de Hugo
Chávez, que siempre le han prodigado odio, insultos y desprecio, y que ahora tratan de utilizar su
situación de salud como excusa para desestabilizar a la República Bolivariana de Venezuela.
Por fortuna, con el comandante Chávez este pueblo despertó y esos factores de la derecha corrupta más
nunca volverán.
En esta hora, unidad y disciplina son las bases para garantizar la estabilidad política de la Patria.
